About Me
Hey there! I'm an orthopedic physical therapist, and I love using movement as medicine. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 and completed my double major in Biology/Psychology in 2013 from there as well.
As a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), I enjoy providing top notch care to active individuals , as well as performance training for high-level athletes. Working alongside orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and sports coaches in the sports medicine field has furthered my understanding of human movement and refined my diagnostic and treatment approach for the active population - and I’m excited to share that with you!
Jaya Physical Therapy is founded on my clinical experience and belief that we can reduce pain and improve performance through proper identification of structural issues and movement pattern retraining. It’s important that you understand your role in your own healing; but together, we will establish an efficient and effective treatment plan based on your goals.
Jaya Physical Therapy is named after both my mother and my daughter. It means "victory" in Hindi. My goal is for Jaya PT is to provide excellent and compassionate care to everyone I interact with. Outside of the clinical care, I enjoy Carolina basketball, exercise, hanging out with my family, and exploring the continued growth of my hometown of Apex. I’m genuinely excited to meet you and to help you achieve your goals. Come see me!
